Pet Sitting

Leaving your pet behind shouldn’t mean worrying the entire time you’re away.

As a traveler and lifelong pet pal, I know that anxiety myself.

Whether you’re traveling, relocating, or simply need reliable help, I provide attentive, trustworthy pet sitting focused on keeping your animals safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own environment.

Since first visiting Buenos Aires, I’ve volunteered as one of the country’s so-called “protectionists,” helping rescue stray animals, find homes for cats living in parks and abandoned buildings, and assist with local sterilization campaigns aimed at reducing the stray population. Not glamorous work, but important.

But my life as an animal fairy started much earlier.

My first pet sitting clients came when I was eight years old (we rolled differently in the ’80s). Neighbors up the street trusted me to care for their Collie and famously relaxed tomcat while they traveled. I spent hours with them every day, and they hired me every summer until I moved.

Since then, caring for animals has never felt like a job so much as something naturally woven into my life.

Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, elderly, independent, affectionate, or somewhere in between, the goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

Pet Sitting Add-Ons

Would you like to come home to see your garden looking great, a tidier home or to a healthy, home-cooked meal after a long trip?

Houseplant/ Garden Care

I will water the garden, prune and repot or propagate plants as necessary.

Organizing

Lots of people’s homes get too piled up with junk that becomes hard to get a handle on. It’s a modern problem.

In addition to house-sitting I can tidy and organize upon request.

No shame — junk pile up happens but sometimes an outsider can help reorganize and reframe, to make the situation less daunting.

That’s where I come in!

Ironically organization isn’t a natural strong point, but I’ve worked on it all my life, learned to be a little more minimalist through necessity and have a method of organizing clutter by category to conquer it in a way that can bring relief and inspiration to keep it going.

Breaking the clutter habit for good can be the more difficult part, but I’ve discovered that once they have a head start on reclaiming their space, they get into it.

Home-Cooked Meal for Your Homecoming

How about a delicious pot of chicken soup, bowl of chili, Argentine locro, or fresh stir fry waiting for you when you get home?

After many years of practice, I’m adept at preparing healthy, yummy, seed-oil free favorites dishes — certified crowd pleasers that can be made to order for common food restrictions.

I think it’s ideal that upon your return home from an extended trip, you feel at peace, are able to decompress first, so don’t have to immediately switch back into routine and meal preparation.

Return to a peaceful home — happy pets, thriving plants, tidier spaces, and a nourishing meal ready to enjoy
